ALTERAÇÕES PERIODONTAIS RESULTANTES DA EXPOSIÇÃO CIRÚRGICA DE CANINOS SUPERIORES IMPACTADOS POR PALATINO

Resumo


Objetivo: Avaliar as alterações periodontais após o uso de diferentes técnicas cirúrgicas para o tracionamento Ortodôntico de caninos superiores impactados. Os pesquisadores realizaram uma revisão sistemática. Uma busca eletrônica foi executada no Pubmed, Scopus, Science Direct, Web of Science e Google Acadêmico, seguida de uma busca manual. Ensaios clínicos que avaliaram a saúde periodontal de caninos superiores impactados por palatino submetidos ao tracionamento Ortodôntico após a exposição cirúrgica foram incluídos no estudo. A avaliação periodontal precisaria ser realizada no mínimo três meses após o final do tracionamento ortodôntico. A busca foi realizada de Julho de 2013 a Janeiro de 2016, e artigos publicados e no prelo foram analisados. Seis artigos foram selecionados, os quais avaliaram as técnicas cirúrgicas aberta, fechada e modificada para tracionamento Ortodôntico, de modo que não foram encontradas diferenças entre as técnicas. As técnicas aberta e fechada podem ser usadas no tratamento orto-cirúrgico de caninos superiores impactados sem ocasionarem danos periodontais significantes.
