Dr. Sci., Professor Alexander Bolonkin, autor que publicou na CALIBRE, v. 4, n. 1 (2019), traz ao público este interessante livro com notas autobiográficas. Trabalhou nas indústrias soviéticas de aviação e foguetes, e deu palestras nas principais universidades de Moscou na antiga URSS.

Em 1972, o Professor Bolonkin foi preso pela notória Polícia Secreta Soviética. Após mais de 15 anos de torturas e exílio na Sibéria, a autoridade soviética permitiu que ele deixasse a URSS em 1988. Após sua chegada aos Estados Unidos, ele lecionou no Instituto de Tecnologia de Nova Jersey e trabalhou como pesquisador sênior da NASA e nos Laboratórios de Pesquisa da Força Aérea dos EUA.

Bolonkin é o autor de mais de 270 artigos científicos e livros, acumulando 17 invenções em suas credenciais.

Dr. Sci., Professor Alexander Bolonkin, an author who published in CALIBRE, v. 4, n. 1 (2019), brings to the public this interesting work with autobiographical notes. He worked in Soviet aviation, rocket and space industries and lectured in main Moscow Universities in the former USSR.

In 1972 professor Bolonkin was arrested by the notorious Soviet Secret Police. After more than 15 years of torturers and exile in Siberia, Soviet authority allowed him to leave the USSR in 1988. Following his arrival in the United States, he lectured at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and worked as a Senior Researcher at NASA and the US Air Force Research Laboratories. 

Bolonkin is the author of more than 270 scientific articles and books and has 17 inventions to his credit.
