ABORDAGEM MULTIDISCIPLINAR NA CORREÇÃO DO SORRISO GENGIVAL: UM RELATO DE CASO CLÍNICO

Resumo


Objetivo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo demonstrar um relato de caso onde foi associado a cirurgia periodontal com reabilitação estética com resina composta dos dentes anteriores. Relato de caso: Mulher, 23 anos, com queixa em relação a proporção dos dentes, sorriso infantil e o excesso de gengiva ao sorrir. Diante do exame clínico e radiográfico foi possível realizar o diagnóstico do fator etiológico como erupção passiva alterada (EPA). Dessa forma, foi realizado uma sequência de fotos para melhor visualização do caso. A conduta de escolha foi o recontorno gengival combinado à osteotomia e osteoplasia. Após a cicatrização, a paciente foi submetida a reabilitação estética com resina composta, afim de corrigir a forma e a cor dos dentes anteriores. Conclusão: A abordagem multidisciplinar permitiu uma reabilitação holística da paciente, onde foi solucionado sua queixa principal com a manutenção e saúde dos tecidos periodontais
