CONTEXTO TEÓRICO DAS AÇÕES IMPLEMENTADAS PELOS MUNICÍPIOS PARA LIDAR COM AS PANDEMIAS

Resumo


A gestão das cidades exerce um importante papel no dia-a-dia das pessoas, e nos momentos de crise biológica, como as decorrentes de pandemias. Neste contexto, o objetivo deste estudo foi elaborar uma revisão do que as teorias de cidades propõem para o enfrentamento de pandemias. Realizou-se uma revisão sistêmica da literatura apoiada na intersecção entre os temas relacionados a gestão das cidades e enfrentamento de pandemia. O contexto teórico obtido foi empregado na análise das ações desenvolvidas pelo município de São Caetano do Sul no estado de São Paulo, consubstanciado a teórico com a prática. A revisão teórica possibilitou classificar a abordagem de enfrentamento de pandemias em quatro categorias de atenção: fluxo populacional, o engajamento, as informações e o suporte. A governança urbana realizada por São Caetano do Sul no enfrentamento da pandemia, se mostrou aderente a abordagem teórica.
